Laugh Your Way Into New Year at Second City's New Year's Eve Performances

OLD TOWN — Laugh your way into the new year at one of Second City's New Year's Eve performances.

Second City, 1616 N. Wells St., is offering a few different New Year's Eve packages this year, all of which include comedy performances, snacks and beverages.

Folks can see performances at either 7 p.m. or 10 p.m. at one of Second City's three theaters: "Fool Me Twice, Deja Vu" at the mainstage; "Soul Brother, Where Art Thou?" at the e.t.c. theater; "Holidazed and Confused at the UP Comedy Club.

General admission ($60 per person) gets you a souvenir Second City glass, complimentary soda and coffee, discounted alcoholic beverages, table snacks, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. 

The "laughs and libations" package ($90 per person) includes a three-hour drink package, show tickets, top-shelf table service, table snacks, party favors and a midnight champagne toast. 

Then there's the "premium NYE package" ($440 per couple), which includes a "premiere" drink package, the beat seats in the house, top-shelf table service, table snacks, party favors and a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne at midnight.
