UPTOWN — Wilson Avenue will be closed to cars during the workday this week as the CTA continues work on Wilson Station.

The closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday this week as a canopy is erected, the CTA said.

The closures will not effect pedestrian traffic and the Red Line's Wilson Station will remain open and operating. The No. 78 bus will rerouted and won't stop at the Wilson Service Drive, the CTA said.

There will also be dust and additional noise in the area, the CTA warned.

The CTA holiday train will also be operating on Red and Purple Line tracks this week.
