ALBANY PARK — Two men and a boy were wounded Tuesday evening in the second shooting in two days in Albany Park.

According to a police spokesman, a man walked up to the victims in the 4600 block of North Central Park Avenue about 7:40 p.m. and opened fire.

A 25-year-old man was shot in his hand and another 25-year-old man was shot in his leg. Both were taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, police said.

The third victim, a juvenile, was shot in his leg and taken to St. Francis Presence Hospital. None of the wounds was life threatening.

All of the victims were documented gang members, police said.

No one is in custody.

"As a community, we will respond to gang violence with unity, strength and love," Ramirez-Rosa said in a statement.

The next CAPS meeting for Beat 1723, where both shootings occurred, is scheduled for 7:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in the community room at the Albany Park Police District headquarters, 4650 N. Pulaski Road..
