DOWNTOWN — There's no shortage of stores Downtown, but that doesn't mean good gifts for the holidays here still aren't hard to find.
If you're freaking out about what to get your Chicago-loving mom, dad, kids or distant aunt, don't worry: DNAinfo already did for you.
Some of our suggestions are safe (Blackhawks sweater) while others are a little wacky (just like your aunt). In no particular order, here they are:
Cheer Like a Champion

They may not be politically correct, but Blackhawks sweaters are still regarded among the best-looking jerseys in sports. Head to the Blackhawks Store at 333 N. Michigan Ave. and pick up a red one for $350. Our best suggestion this season? Hot-shot rookie Artemi Panarin, No. 72.
Drink Like a Bootlegger

Kitschy? Yes, but also practical: this 64-ounce flask adorned with hackneyed Chicago icon Al Capone is $24.99 at souvenir shop Bye Bye Chicago, 331 N. Michigan Ave. Your drunk uncle who is obsessed with gangster movies will LOVE it.
Or Out of a Little Christmas Boot

Christkindlmarket's boot mugs are back by popular demand. The collectibles, which were pulled from the annual Daley Plaza holiday fair in 2013, are available again now for $7. Head to the plaza, 50 W. Washington St., and enjoy some hot chocolate or mulled wine with your festive boot-to-go.
Bundle Up Without Looking Bulky

HeatTech gear from Chicago's new Uniqlo, 830 N. Michigan Ave., is great for pretty much anyone who has to tolerate winter here, warming you up outside without making you sweat inside. The clothes — available for men, women, and children — range from innerwear to sweaters and gloves and hats.
Find Your Way Around Town With This Bracelet

Move over, smart watches. This gold-plated cuff bracelet from the Chicago Architecture Foundation, 224 S. Michigan Ave., has the Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Brown and Pink "L" lines etched into it. The bracelet costs $79.95 (cheaper than most trips to the Apple Store), or $67.96 for foundation members.
Walk Like an Egyptian (With Socks)

Loop-based Nick'Socks sells these luxury socks made entirely out of Egyptian cotton. Need something else to brag about? They're custom-made in Italy. And cost $55.
Cut a Rug in a Room With a View

There are lots of dance classes in town, but Windy City Wedding Dance offers them from a studio overlooking Grant Park from the historic Fine Arts Building, 410 S. Michigan Ave. Packages for ballroom, salsa and other classes range from an introductory private lesson for $45 to 20 for $1,200.
Ring in 2016 Like a VIP

Chicago has its own outdoor New Year's Eve party this year. But you can watch it from comfort at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E. Wacker Drive. The hotel, which is the epicenter of the riverfront party, is offering a party package including two tickets to a private ballroom fête, open bar from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., champagne toast, party favors, food, and a 2 p.m. late checkout. The party package is $499 (including lodging), and tickets to the outdoor show are an extra $100.
