A 29-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and got himself to Rush University Medical Center in "stable" condition, Sedevic said. A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg and was taken to Rush University Medical Center in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The 21-year-old man is a documented gang member, according to police.

• A 24-year-old man was shot in Austin Monday night, Sedevic said. He was in the street in the 700 block of North Leamington Avenue around 7:10 p.m. when shots rang out, Sedevic said. The man was shot in the right arm and was taken to West Suburban Hospital in "stable" condition, she said.

• Two men were wounded in a Washington Heights shooting Monday afternoon, Sedevic said. A 21-year-old was walking to a store in the 10500 block of South Michigan Avenue around 4:50 p.m. when someone in a dark-colored SUV opened fire, Sedevic said. He was struck in the buttocks and back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, Sedevic said.

A 58-year-old man was leaving the store at the time of the shooting and was struck in the chest, Sedevic said. The man, who was not the intended target, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, Sedevic said.
