OLD TOWN — You know you live in Old Town if you are within earshot of the chiming bells at the historic St. Michael's Church.

By now, most Old Town residents are familiar with that saying, which is to say the neighborhood's unspecific borders are nothing new.

At DNAinfo Chicago, we launched an app allowing readers to have a voice and show where they think each neighborhood's boundaries are.

So far, nearly 200 Old Towners have participated in the interactive drawing project.

About 65 participants believe Old Town is bordered by North Avenue to the north, Division Street to the south, Sedgwick Street to the west and LaSalle Boulevard to the east.

Some people, however, believe Old Town is bounded by Larrabee Street to the west.

According to a 2008 Tribune article, Old Town is bounded by Division Street to Armitage Avenue, and Clark Street to Halsted Street.

Let us know what you think. We'll continue to accept drawings for the foreseeable future.
