CHICAGO — Police are warning of recent burglaries in Humboldt Park.

In two incidents, thieves entered homes through a rear door or front window, according to a Chicago Police Community Alert. They stole copper pipe, tools and a bicycle.

The incidents occurred:

• 9 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 600 block of North Sawyer Avenue

• Between 7 p.m. Sept. 28 and 7 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 1100 block of North Kedzie Avenue

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call 312-744-8263.
