Man Shot in Humboldt Park Not Cooperating With Authorities, Police Say

HUMBOLDT PARK — A 33-year-old man who was shot and wounded early Saturday is being uncooperative with officers, police said.

At 2:40 a.m., the man was walking in the 3200 block of West LeMoyne Street in Humboldt Park when he was shot, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his abdomen and was in "stable" condition at Stroger Hospital, Sedevic said. Police could not provide more information on the extent of his injuries.

The man is a documented gang member and is not cooperating with officers, the police said.
