Man Exposes Self to 3-Year-Old Girl, Mom in Avondale, Police Say

AVONDALE — Police are warning Avondale residents about a man who flashed a woman and her 3-year-old daughter on the street Sunday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. Sunday, the woman and girl were in the 2800 block of North Avondale Avenue when a man exposed himself from a nearby alley, according to a Chicago Police Department community alert released Thursday.

Police described the man as Hispanic with a medium complexion, in his late 20s or early 30s. He stands at about 5-foot-8 and weighs between 220-250 pounds.

When the incident occurred, police said, the man wore a T-shirt with jeans and a black baseball cap turned backward.

Anyone with information on the incident or the offender is asked to call detectives at 312-492-3810.
