CHICAGO — Lines might be a little bit longer at Garrett Popcorn locations this week, as the famous popcorn retailer is celebrating its 66th anniversary with a special offer.

A small bag of popcorn will sell for 66 cents through Friday of this week, the company announced in a Facebook post Wednesday.

The special sale is only available at its Chicago locations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the company said. The sale includes a specialty bag with a graphic mimicking a Route 66 highway sign. A specialty tin celebrating the company's 66th anniversary is also available for sale.

Kyla Gardner says the bag will cost you about 900 calories:

Garrett had a similar sale last year to celebrate its 65th anniversary. The Chicago institution opened its first store at 10 W. Madison St. on Sept. 18, 1949.
