CHICAGO — The sky looks ominous at the moment, so here are some inside and outside options for after work today.

1. Make a Flower Crown, Eat Tacos:  September is arts and crafts month inside of Antique Taco's new upstairs event space, which is hosting dinner-time craft workshops. Thursday's flower crown making lesson, Taught by Field & Florist, will give attendees a chance to create their own crown, to take home or perhaps wear for a late summer night stroll in the nearby park. The $45 ticket includes all crown materials, tacos, sides, dessert, a seasonal margarita lesson and cocktail by bartender Madeline Suter.  Antique Taco, 1360 N. Milwaukee Ave.  Workshop runs from 6:30-9 p.m. Advance RSVP required via email; only 8 spots remain out of 20 as of 11:45 a.m Thursday.

2. Join the McCuthcheon-Goudy Rivalry: Whether you're a fan of the Cougars or the Mustangs, show your school pride as faculty from McCutcheon Elementary take on faculty from Goudy Technology Academy in a kickball game officiated by Ald. Harry Osterman. Margate Park, 4921 N. Marine Dr. 4 p.m.

3. Meet Neighbors, Admire Fire Station Park's Garden: Community group Lincoln Central Association is throwing a free garden party at Fire Station Park to bring neighbors together. The party kicks off at 6 p.m. and will keep going as long as everyone's having a good time. There will be beverages, hors d' oeuvres and music. While you're there, grab some veggies and herbs from the open garden. Fire Station Park is located on Larrabee Street just south of the Armitage Avenue fire station.

4. Go See "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" on the Big Screen: It's throwback Thursday again at the Logan Theatre, where they'll screen "Ferris Bueller Day Off" at 10:30 p.m. Too late for a school night? Go see "Diary of a Teenage Girl" instead. Logan Theater, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave. Buy movie tickets here.

5. Celebrate The Start of Football Season: Watch the Patriots take on the Steelers at the Boundary tonight and count how many jokes about balls you hear. There will also be food, drink specials, raffles and more. RSVP here. The Boundary, 1932 W. Division At. Game starts at 7:30 p.m.
