HUMBOLDT PARK — A 19-year-old man was shot in his hand while driving in Humboldt Park early Sunday morning, police said.
Around 3:40 a.m., the man was driving east on the 2800 block of West Augusta Boulevard when someone shot at him from the sidewalk, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was brought to Saint Mary's Hospital, where he was in good condition, Estrada said.
Police said the man is a documented gang member.
No one is in custody, Estrada said.
