Another 23-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg and another 22-year-old man was shot in the shoulder; both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Estrada said.

A 34-year-old man suffered injuries to his left shoulder and both legs when he was shot in the 6700 block of South East End Avenue by offenders in a green car, Estrada said. He drove himself to University of Illinois Hospital and was listed as stable.

• A 14-year-old girl was standing on the corner in the 3800 block of West Adams Street around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when she heard gunfire and felt pain, Estrada said. She was shot in the buttocks and taken to Loretto Hospital in stable condition.

• A 20-year-old man was shot in the left side around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of South Fairfield Avenue, Estrada said. The man was on the sidewalk when an unknown offender appeared from a nearby gangway and opened fire. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.
