40-Year-Old Man Shot in Logan Square, Police Say

LOGAN SQUARE — A 40-year-old man was shot in Logan Square early Sunday morning, police said.

Around 2:55 a.m., the man was shot in his lower right back in the 1800 block of North Mozart Avenue, according to Officer Janel Sedevic.

The shooting happened just north of the 606 and a block away from Moos Elementary school.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.
