AVONDALE — A 17-year-old was grazed in the head by a bullet early Thursday morning in Avondale, police said.
The teen was standing on the sidewalk in the 3000 block of North California Avenue when a white SUV pulled up and someone inside shot at him, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The teen was taken to Norwegian Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition with a graze wound in the head.
About 10 minutes earlier, police said a man was shot to death about a mile away in Logan Square, also by someone in a white SUV. Police did not say whether they believed the two shootings to be related.
