LINCOLN PARK — Young nature-lovers can learn the ins and outs of conservation from Lincoln Park Zoo staffers beginning in the fall.
The Lincoln Park Zoo's Conservation Ambassadors Board is seeking Chicago teens in grades high school for its nine-month program.
Beginning in September and ending in May, the program will teach teens about Lincoln Park Zoo conservation projects like Project ChimpCARE and Wildlife Watch, and will allow them to plan events to share their newfound knowledge.
Board members attend meetings twice a month on Saturdays.
Applications will be accepted through Aug. 26, and can be filled out online. Those who meet attendance requirements might be eligible to earn service hours.
