The man was arguing with his girlfriend outside their home in the 800 block of East 100th Place when his girlfriend's nephew walked up and shot him in both legs, Sedevic said.

The man drove himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, Sedevic said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, Sedevic said.

Police said the man was not cooperating with police, and no other details about the shooting were immediately known.

• At 7:35 p.m. Monday, a 24-year-old man was standing in the 9500 block of South Wentworth Avenue when someone shot at him from a moving car, Sedevic said.
