BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport Air & Water Show is coming back to Palmisano Park.

The free, third annual event is set for Aug. 15 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at 2900 S. Halsted St.

The show will include kite demonstrations from Chicago Kite, 300 free kite kits for children to decorate and fly and access to the park’s hill — also known as “Mt. Bridgeport” — for flying those kites.

Along with games, a scavenger hunt and "story time" sponsored by the Chicago Public Library, The Valentine Boy’s Club “Fish Mobile” will make an appearance to provide fishing supplies and fishing lessons for kids.

If you’re hungry, you can grab some grub from Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp, Ricobene’s and Yvolina’s Tamales.

For more information, contact Maureen Sullivan, president of the Palmisano Park Advisory Council, at maureen@walkiesinc.com.
