NORTH PARK — Well, that's one way to get a message across.

In what appears to be the work of an extremely meticulous prankster, a car parked near Balmoral and Kedzie was plastered in hundreds of Post-it Notes Thursday.

Though a handful of the sticky squares — all of them blank — had blown off in the breeze, the rest of the auto, from windshield wipers to hubcaps, remained papered over.

Neither the car's owner nor the perpetrator was anywhere to be found when DNAinfo came upon the scene, which is a shame, because we have ever so many questions, not the least of which is "Are we the ones being punked?"

Whether the caper turns out to be a joke between friends, some sort of interactive art installation or a guerrilla marketing tactic from a Post-it competitor, one thing's for sure: It got us to take note.

For sheer attention to detail and in light of the time commitment involved (without getting caught), we give this gag an A+.
