LINCOLN PARK — A bar and restaurant with a heavy focus on wings is set to open in Lincoln Park on Thursday.

The move swaps one import wing restaurant out for another.

New York Wing Factory's first Midwest location is in the former Buffalo Wild Wings at 2464 N. Lincoln Ave.

New York Wing Factory's menu features a number of wing varieties such as Hickory BBQ, Soy Garlic, Medium, Jalapeno BBQ and Angry as well as typical American fare such as burgers, ribs and mac and cheese.

The specialty "factory wings" are battered and double fried and come bone-in or boneless.

The restaurant also features a full bar with 20 rotating draft beers, 30 in cans and bottles and five signature cocktails.

The restaurant will be open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. weekdays and until 3 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

The Lincoln Park restaurant's chef comes from Scout in the South Loop and has plans to fine-tune the menu over the next few weeks.
