Watch These Lincoln Park Zoo Lemurs Try to Understand a GoPro

CHICAGO — What does a GoPro taste like?

That's the question a crowned lemur at the Lincoln Park Zoo set out to answer when keepers set up one of the action cameras in the habitat at the Helen Brach Primate House.

The 1½-minute video, condensed from an hour of footage, shows the zoo's lemur family jumping, eating and trying to understand the new contraption.

Crowned lemurs are native to Madagascar, and so-called because of the crown-shaped orange patch of fur on their heads.

A baby lemur was born at the zoo in April. In a news release at the time, a zoo curator said, "Crowned lemurs are an extremely energetic and curious species."

Curious, indeed.
