CHICAGO — It's kind of cold and definitely cloudy but we're confident the clouds will part and we'll be able to enjoy at least some of this weekend outside.

If not, just bring a coat. Gotta take what we can get.

1. Buy Yummy Local Stuff In Rogers Park: At the Glenwood Sunday Market, families can peruse local flora and produce at Rogers Park favorite farmers market. Check out a large selection of pastries (including gluten-free choices), fruits, veggies, jellies, jams and more. Every Sunday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Located on Glenwood Avenue between Morse and Lunt.

2. Have Some Riverwalk With That Wine: Drink wine outside at City Winery’s new Riverwalk patio. The 107-seat patio serves six different wines made in the West Loop, including a new one for the Riverwalk. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, weather permitting. Located on the south side of the Chicago Riverwalk between State and Dearborn streets.

3. See What Everyone's Raving About: Boeufhaus' Chef Brian Ahern will be the guest griller at a Backyard BBQ in the back patio of Sportsman's Club on Sunday. For $20, you can pile your plate with porchetta, grilled sausage, whole rib, skirt steak with chimmichurri, oyster corn chowder, grilled asparagus, grilled/smoked cauliflower, beet salad, charred octopus, avocado mousse and ceci beans. Drinks not included but bring $5 for a boozy snow cone. Party starts at 4 p.m., 948 N. Western Ave.

4. Eat Chipotle in the Garden: Fuel your gardening sesh with some Chipotle. Check out one of the participating Chipotle locations, flash this Facebook event up on your smartphone and know that 50 percent of your meal cost is going to Peterson Garden Project. Bring your burrito to check on that kale. Between 1 p.m to 5 p.m. See eligible locations here.

5. Enjoy Homegrown Talent or Be Part of the Roster:  Wicker Park’s namesake park brings back its popular “Wicker Mic” outdoor open mic, on the last Friday of the month through Aug. 28. Sign up starts at 5:45 p.m., show begins at 6 p.m. Performers get up to 5 minutes stage time. Free. Located at 1425 N. Damen Ave., on the edge of the softball field just south of the Schiller Street entrance
