WICKER PARK —  Earth, beer and live music fans, take note: There's a fest for you and it is among our Top 5 things to do in Wicker Park over this summer solstice weekend.

Green Music Fest runs from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Damen Avenue between North Avenue and Schiller Street, in front of Wicker Park's namesake park at 1425 N. Damen Ave., just south of the CTA Blue Line "L" stop.

Music headliners include Shovels & Rope, Banditos, Mikal Cronin and Sol Cat.

See the complete music lineup.

Ald. Joe Moreno (1st) will have a satellite office at the fest from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The festival, which has a suggested $5 donation for entry, offers live music on two stages, vendors and family-friendly activities. One of the two music stages will be powered by 10 stationary bikes.

Saturday

"Everything Must Go" Sale near The 606's Milwaukee/Leavitt entrance. An artist studio is closing and having a sale. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1813 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Eat lots and lots of ice cream.   After being closed, again, due to a listeria scare, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams reopens in Lakeview and Wicker Park on Saturday. Reopening hours start at 5 p.m. across the country, according to Jeni's blog, which details some of the new treats, like a ginger ale and lemon frozen yogurt float.
