WICKER PARK — Craving fresh veggies? Love Morrissey?
To celebrate the return of the Wicker Park Farmers Market on Sunday, organizers have announced a social media contest with tickets to Morrissey's July 9 show at the Civic Opera House as the main prize.
To enter, fans of the British singer-songwriter and former frontman for The Smiths can follow the Wicker Park Farmers Market on Facebook or Instagram, @wickerpark_farmersmarket and post a picture reflecting their love of the market — and Morrissey, a staunch vegan.
Use hashtag #MorrisseyattheMarket. One pair of tickets will be given away after Sunday's opening market and two pairs each for the June 21 and June 28 markets.
Located at 1425 N. Damen Ave. in Wicker Park's namesake park, the Farmers Market runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays through Oct. 25.
