CHICAGO — It's the place you take your family when they're in from out of town.

It's a selfie mecca.

It's the Bean.

In this edition of Chicago, Reviewed, we look at "Cloud Gate," the reflective Millennium Park attraction from artist Anish Kapoor.

The Bean earned 4.5 out of 5 stars from 343 reviews.

All reviews credited to Yelp.

You know it's going to be a good journey into the recesses of Yelp when reviewers are self-conscious about reviewing the item.

The '90s were good to the fish-eye lens.

A sure-fire way to make sure people appreciate your art is to let them look at themselves in it, take photos of themselves in it, and then upload 40 of those photos to Facebook.

A lot of reviewers said they were skeptical about the Bean but came away impressed after seeing it up close. It left them ... forever changed. Does this remind anyone else of Michael Crichton's underwater thriller "Sphere"?

How ... how did you get inside it?

David T. broke the mold of taking a selfie of your reflection in the bean and took a selfie 50 feet from it.

Some people can't "only take so many" pictures. Still, "don't get too excited" is great advice.

Chicago Tourism Board, this should be the official Bean motto.
