If there's one alarming thing about about the Blackhawks celebration it's this: The Stanley Cup hasn't been south of Soldier Field yet.

Sure, the cup has a scheduled stop at Sox Park Sunday. But so far, all the bars, restaurants and Bentley dealerships where the Hawks have shown off their World Championship hardware are north of Cermak.

So, before Lord Stanley's Cup starts its world tour one player at a time, I figured I'd offer the champs a few choice neighborhood spots to celebrate with South Side fans — the faithful and the recently converted.

After all, this year the Blackhawks were so good "they got black people lovin' hockey," according to the greatest fan-on-the-street interview of all time on WGN-TV.

Hyde Park: There's a couple spots — "Jimmy's" Woodlawn Tap, 1172 E. 55th St. and a personal favorite, The Cove Lounge, 1750 E. 55th St. — where you'll find an eclectic group of overlooked Hawks fans.

Bronzeville: The Hawks could really surprise some unexpecting fans at Good Time Sports Bar, 206 E. 35th St., or The Game, 4310 S. Prairie Ave.

Bridgeport: There's too many Hawks hotspots to count but I can tell you from experience that almost everyone watching Game 6 at Thirty3 Bar and Grill, 3304 S. Halsted St., was wearing a Hawks sweater.

Beverly: Any tavern on the boozy side of Western Avenue would be a perfect spot to bring the Cup, including Cork and Kerry, 10614 S. Western Ave., Sean's Rhino Bar, 10330 S. Western Ave. and Cullinan's Stadium Club, 11610 S. Western Ave., which is technically Morgan Park.

Garfield Ridge: The Southwest Side — home of countless die-hard Hawks fans — seems to always get forgotten during championship celebrations. If the Stanley Cup showed up at Tom's Tap, 6701 W. Archer Ave., a couple regulars might choke on their Miller Lites.
