CHICAGO — A Roseland man has died nearly a month after being shot during a drive-by that left two others dead.

Marquis Chamberlain, 19, of the 11400 block of South Parnell Avenue, died Tuesday of complications from wounds he sustained during the May 13 drive-by shooting, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.

Chamberlain was sitting in a car with Shamari Salger and Terrance Canady in the 200 block of West 107th Street when a car drove up and someone inside opened fire, striking the three men, police said at the time of the shooting.

Salger, of the 10th block of east 100th Place, was shot in his head and pronounced dead at the scene, the Medical Examiner's Office said.

Canady, of the 11300 block of South Stewart Avenue, was shot in his head and abdomen and died later that day, the Medical Examiner's officer said.

Police said the incident appeared to be gang-related at the time of the shooting.
