ROSELAND — Two men are dead and another was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Roseland Wednesday night, police said.

Three men were sitting in a car around 8 p.m. in the 200 block of West 107th Street when another car drove up, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Someone inside the other car then opened fire, striking the three men, Alfaro said.

Shamari Salger, of the first block of East 100th Place, was shot in his head and pronounced dead at the scene at 8:08 p.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.

Terrance Canady, of the 11300 block of South Stewart Avenue, was shot in his head and abdomen, police said. He was pronounced dead at 11:22 p.m., the Medical Examiner's office said.

The third victim, also 19, was shot multiple times in his chest. He was also taken to Christ and listed in critical condition, police said.

Police said that the incident appears to be gang-related.

The investigation is ongoing.
