Norwood Park Historical Society to Host 'Giant' Yard Sale

NORWOOD PARK — A yard sale and silent auction will raise money for the Norwood Park Historical Society.

The "giant" yard sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 20 at the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, 5624 N. Newark Ave., organizers said.

Admission to the event, which will take place rain or shine, is $2.

Items for sale will include household goods, antiques, jewelry, collectibles, furniture, toys, books, pictures, kitchen items, garden items, bikes, tools and outdoor items, organizers said.

A bedroom set, designer purses, pearls set in gold and antiques are set to be auctioned off, organizers said.

Food will also be available for purchase.

The historical society maintains the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, the oldest house in Chicago.
