CHICAGO — A 36-year-old man was shot in Humboldt Park Sunday night.

Around 7:40 p.m., the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 700 block of North Christiana Avenue when he was shot in his right armpit, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, Cooper said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Cooper said.
