HOMAN SQUARE — A 20-year-old man was shot just before 8 a.m. in Homan Square Saturday morning, according to Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The shooting brings the weekend total to 15 wounded, 3 dead since Friday.

The man was walking along the 3300 block of West Lexington at 7:54 a.m. when someone in a white Honda exited the car and fired shots, striking the victim in both his legs, she said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he is listed in fair condition, Cooper said.
