CHICAGO — One person was killed and 15 others wounded — including a 2-year-old girl — in shootings across the city since Thursday afternoon, police said.

Most recently in Uptown, Shaquon Thomas, 20, a rapper known as Young Pappy, was shot and killed in the street early Friday.

In West Englewood, a 2-year-old girl was among five wounded in a shooting Thursday night, and in Rogers Park, a 47-year-old man was wounded in the first shooting of the day.

• Around 9:30 p.m., three men were standing outside in the 2100 block of East 67th Street in South Shore when a man started shooting from a nearby alley, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

A 28-year-old man was shot in his buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, Sedevic said.

A 30-year-old was shot in his upper right arm, and a 31-year-old was shot in his left thigh. They were both listed in fair condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Sedevic said.

• Twenty minutes earlier, a passenger was shot in a car in Englewood.

Around 9:10 p.m., a 23-year-old was in a car traveling northbound in the 5800 block of South Wentworth Avenue when a dark-colored sedan pulled up alongside and someone inside fired shots, Sedevic said.

The man was shot in his upper back and driven to Saint Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, Sedevic said.

• At 5:30 p.m., two teens were standing on the sidewalk in the 800 block of East 65th Street in Woodlawn when someone approached and opened fire, Sedevic said.

A 15-year-old boy was shot in his leg and taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition. A 16-year-old suffered a graze wound on his armpit and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

• Less than two hours earlier, two men were standing outside in the 7400 block of South Colfax Avenue in South Shore when a vehicle approached and someone inside fired shots at 3:50 p.m., Sedevic said.

The 31-year-old was shot in his leg and waist and the 25-year-old was shot in his ankle. Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and listed in fair condition, Sedevic said.

• At 2:40 p.m. a 28-year-old man was walking in the 3100 block of North Lavergne Avenue in Belmont Cragin, when he got into an argument with another man who pulled out a gun and fired shots, Sedevic said.

The man was shot in his leg and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, and police are investigating.
