CHICAGO — A 47-year-old year man was hospitalized after being shot in Rogers Park Thursday afternoon, police said.

Around noon, the man was shot in his stomach in the 1300 block of West Pratt Boulevard, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in fair condition, Sedevic said.

According to a police source, the shooting appears to be drug-related.

No one is in custody.
