CHICAGO — The City of Chicago's rat abatement poster has been spoofed again — and this time, the target is artists.

As pointed out by Gapers Block, it bears a strong resemblance to the "Bum Bait" signs that enraged some Wicker Parkers in April.

The "Target: Artist" sign, which BoingBoing reports has been spotted on a phone pole in Chicago, shows a rat wearing a beret and holding a piece of paper and a fountain pen.

The sign says artist may infest "galleries, coffee shops and unemployment lines."

It recommends:

"Don't 'like' or offer false praise or encouragement to artists on social media."

"Reserve terms like 'talented', 'brilliant' and 'genius',[sic] for scientists."
