WEST PULLMAN — A woman was stabbed and her home set on fire Wednesday, police said.

At 11:52 a.m., a 27-year-old man entered the victim's home in the 11700 block of South Justine Street and and stabbed her in her chest and arms, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.
