CHICAGO — Two people were shot a few blocks apart on the Near West Side Sunday night.

In the more recent incident, a man in his 20s was shot in the 2300 block of West Monroe Street, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his right arm around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

Hours earlier, a 22-year-old man was shot just a few blocks away. Around 6:45 p.m., the man was shot in his foot while he was in the first block of South Rockwell Street, Sedevic said.

The man was taken to Stroger in good condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shootings.
