CHICAGO — A man who wore a hoodie with the famous tagline "We Trippy Mane" during one crime is suspected of robbing Logan Square residents at gunpoint this month.

The saying was made famous by Juicy J, of the Academy Award-winning rap duo Three 6 Mafia.

During the robberies, the man says he has a weapon then takes the victim's property.

The first robbery occurred on March 14 around 10:30 p.m., in the 3000 block of West Schubert Avenue. On Monday, another person was robbed around 12:25 a.m. on the same block. About 15 minutes later, another person was robbed in the 2900 block of West Schubert Avenue, police said.

According to police, the suspect is between 18 and 30 years old, stands around 5-foot-11 and weighs about 165 pounds.

In one of the incidents, the man was wearing a dark sweatshirt with pink lettering of the phrase "We Trippy Mane," blue jeans, beige boots and earrings in both ears, police said.
