BEVERLY — Moms of Beverly is a neighborhood Facebook group with considerable influence on the Far Southwest Side.

As a nod to the not-so-secret group with 2,593 members, Horse Thief Hollow unveiled a blonde ale called Moms of Beverly on Saturday.

The neighborhood brewpub describes its latest beverage as "smooth, approachable and easy drinking."

Also known as the MOB, the Facebook group dishes on local pediatricians, hosts pictures of lost dogs, offers suggestions for kids birthday parties and more.

At 5.24 percent alcohol by volume, Moms of Beverly costs $5 per pint.
