CHICAGO — A man was shot and killed in Austin early Thursday, police said.

Around 2 a.m., a 20-year-old man was standing outside in the 100 block of South Cicero Avenue when someone walked up and shot him multiple times, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Sullivan added.
