Man Shot In Thigh in Archer Heights

CHICAGO—A 21-year-old man walked into Mercy Hospital and Medical Center Sunday morning after suffering from a gunshot wound to the left thigh, accordin to police reports. 

The man arrived in good condition at Mercy, 2525 S. Michigan Ave. around 7:15 a.m. He told officers he was shot around 5:30 a.m. in the 4700 block of South Kostner Avenue in the Archer Heights neighborhood. 

Police said Area Central Detectives are still investigating in order to confirm the time and location of the shooting. No one is currently in custody.
