Intro Releases Menu, Features 'Stroll in the Kitchen'

LINCOLN PARK — The first menu at Lettuce Entertain You's revolving restaurant concept, Intro, features some standout ingredients such as Douglas Fir, Oxtail Tea, Juniper Snow and a "stroll in in the kitchen."

Los Angeles-based chef CJ Jacobson is the first chef-in-residence at Intro, which is set to open Wednesday.

The restaurant is replacing L20 at 2300 N. Lincoln Park West.

The first menu includes five courses, six if you count the kitchen tour.

  • Fluke, Avocado, Radish, Douglas Fir
  • Potato, Seaweed, Chicken Skin, Mugwort
  • Oxtail Tea, Rutabaga "Ramen," Aronia Berries
  • Take a Stroll in the Kitchen
  • Lobster, Black Trumpet, Snap Pea, Cumin
  • Kombucha, Juniper Snow, Chocolate, Sunflower

Intro described Jacobson's cooking as "rustic-refined" and said his menus revolve around hyper-seasonal ingredients.

Reservations to Intro are available through an online ticketing system in which diners pay up front. Prices range from $65 to $95 during peak hours.
