The duplex, which is where the owners lived, has two bathrooms, an "amazing" lofted area and exposed brick, according to Hancock. The other two units have one bathroom each.
Nearby the building is Lincoln Park shopping and entertainment as well as DePaul University.
There are four parking spaces available.
Hancock is also the listing agent for the building next door, 1938 N. Halsted St., which can be bought along with 1942 N. Halsted St.
The neighborhood schools are Mayer Elementary School and Lincoln Park High School.
