Owens was arrested after allegedly shooting a 32-year-old man in the head on Jan. 21.

Around 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, the man was in the 5100 block of South Calumet Avenue when two men walked up and robbed him, Sedevic said. During the robbery, the man was shot in the back of his head. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Sedevic said.
