CHICAGO — Police are investigating a shooting that wounded a man outside a Gresham Walgreens Saturday afternoon.
The shooting took place about 12:25 in the 8600 block of South Ashland Avenue, police said. A male, whose age was unknown, was shot in the arm.
Police said a male approached the victim on foot and fired shots, before fleeing in a van.
He was being treated on the scene by Fire Department personnel, police said. He was later taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, but police did not know his condition.
