LOGAN SQUARE — Mayoral candidate Jesus “Chuy” Garcia officially opened his Logan Square office this weekend.
The opening ceremony at 3426 W. Diversey Ave. drew more than 60 people, according to Garcia’s press secretary Monica Trevino.
The Saturday morning opening acknowledges Garcia's base of support in Logan Square, where he urged residents to volunteer with his campaign and vote for him in the upcoming mayoral election.
At least one group in the neighborhood is already on Garcia's trail — "Logan Square for 'Chuy' Garcia."
The Logan Square office is one of the mayoral candidate's seven offices throughout the city and made the list of visits from Garcia Saturday. Other stops included his headquarters at 651 W. Washington Blvd.
The candidate’s other offices include locations at 1144 W. Wilton Ave.; 4314 W. Irving Park Road; 5215 W. Chicago Ave.; 4249 S. Archer Ave.; and 6306 S. Woodlawn Ave.
