CHICAGO — Cards Against Humanity is going against lobbyists.

After making headlines for selling 30,000 boxes of bull manure at six bucks a pop, the local gaming company ramped up another holiday promotion called Ten Days or Whatever of Kwanzaa. The company offered to send mystery gifts to the 250,000 people who paid $15 to sign up.

Those gifts included stickers, personalized cards, card games and miracle berries.

And with the windfall, Cards Against Humanity made a political statement: "Cards Against Humanity believes that in American politics, cash is king. If you want to get anything done, you’ve got to buy your way in. That’s why this year, $2,414,337,089 was spent by 11,509 professional lobbyists trying to sell their bullsh-- to Congress."

The company donated $250,000 to the Sunlight Foundation, a nonprofit that works to provide access to government records, provides information on political donations and more.

In explaining why it decided to donate to the Sunlight Foundation, Cards Against Humanity listed how it could bribe politicians with tongue-in-cheek propositions, including a Virgin Galactic spaceflight, a private island and 11,363 Pizza Hut Meat Lover’s pizzas.
