CHICAGO — The Museum of Contemporary Art will celebrate the closing of its popular "David Bowie Is" exhibit with a visit from another acclaimed Englishman, author Neil Gaiman.

The author of "Coraline," "The Sandman" and "Stardust" will perform his unreleased short story, "The Return of the Thin White Duke," before a question-and-answer session.

The event will cap off the museum's exhibit, paying honor to the musician who once had the persona of "Ziggy Stardust," that began in September.

The museum has held or planned a number of special events in conjunction with the exhibit, including a DJ set featuring Boy George and a sold-out talk by musical artist St. Vincent.

Admission to the Gaiman event on Jan. 4 is $10. Tickets are available here.
