STREETERVILLE — Comparing their aesthetics, the pairing of glam rock icon David Bowie and androgynous pop star Boy George seems an obvious fit.

So it's no stretch for the latter English singer-songwriter to pay tribute to the former at a special event Nov. 7 tied in to the Museum of Contemporary Art's ongoing "David Bowie Is" exhibition.

Tickets are $100 for "Volume 1: STARDUST" starting at 9 p.m. Nov. 7, which will include private admission to the museum exhibit, light snacks and drinks and a special DJ set featuring Boy George at 220 E. Chicago Ave.

The event attire notice advises guests to "let your freak flag fly."

Tickets are available through the museum's website. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit museum programming.
