CHICAGO— A man was seriously injured after being shot in Logan Square Sunday morning, police said.

At 1:10 a.m., a 40-year-old man was standing outside in the 3000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his arm and back. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is listed in serious condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.
