LINCOLN PARK — Thousands of "reindeer" will run through Lincoln Park Sunday morning for the Rudolph Ramble.

The race actually features runners donning antlers and red Rudolph noses — not actual reindeer — but it's proved to be quite popular: As of Wednesday, 2,000 adults and 200 kids aged 2-12 had signed up.

The 8K race for adults starts in Lincoln Park near Fullerton and Cannon Drive at 9 a.m., while the shorter Donner Dash for kids starts at 10 a.m.

The run also features an opportunity for participants to take a photo with Santa Claus and his elves.

Runners can donate toys at the race for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital.

It's not too late to sign up at fleetfeetchicago.com. The race is limited to 3,000 people.
